Intending to livestream tonight, for anyone interested.
I rarely really talk about myself publicly, online. So here, have some generic and vague Kahea-stuff.
My laptop was having issues for a few months now. Luckily I'm friends with quite the talented computer techie, and he reformatted my hard drive for me. Everything seems to be running quite well, now! Reinstalled most of my preferred programs, mostly just games left to get now. Not looking forward to the installation times on a few of these, ugh.. WoW, GW2, and Skyrim are gonna be awful.
Life is kind of doing its own thing. I wouldn't say I'm entirely in a rut anymore, it's just a gradual incline now. Drawing often feels good. And putting more work into drawings/paintings feels even better.
I've been walking with my dog and eating a bit less/better. I've lost a little weight. It's all gradual, and this time I intend for it to be permanent. As a teenager I've gone on diets before, but I just gained it back because it was cutting back into a particular diet instead of changing my habits as a whole. I'm not frustrated or craving anything that much, yet. Enthusiasm abound. Also Jack(my dog) has been enjoying the car rides to the park and our walks. So that's also a plus.
I'm trying my best to stop giving up on everything . Pretty decent success rate, thus far. No more circles, no more ruts.
I've been having to commute an hour on weekdays to fill in for someone the past month. It ends in two weeks, so hopefully I'll have free time in the mornings again. Might start being able to do late-night livestreams that way. This job is pretty simple and boring, but the people here are entertaining enough and quite friendly. It's up in my hometown, so I've managed to catch up with a few friends and appreciate the scenery and mountain air (it's a town just outside of Yosemite National Park).
There's a plot stirring in my brain for the summer. I want to have an adventure, of sorts. I want to travel. I want to see places, and more specifically, people. I figure the north east of the states would be appropriate. I'm supposed to be flying out to stay with my mother (in Cleveland, Ohio), so it'd be convenient to jump from there to someplace else a while. But it's all just thoughts, for now. First I need to find some money before I can start seriously considering it, though.
With that said, I'm still open for commissions, $10 Halloween badges are available until the end of the month.
And I still don't actually socialize(IRL) much with others apart from a handful of close friends. Internet friends keep me busy.
Oh, and hope everyone has a happy Halloween~
