This is not a critique of strictly this page the the whole prologue of Cryptic Allusions.
I'll just go in order of the list two the right.

Vision: The over all point of this comic stands on a ladder of sorts; it starts off as a shaky first step of a young girls adventure, to firm steps of despair and tragedy, back to a helping hand of a stranger.

Originality: the concept of animal hybrids in stories have been done before however to mix creatures such as wolves and coyotes in such a way is a first for me. One does wonder if it will make it as a substantial web comic or will it be cursed to roam the Internet looking for an audience that has already had its fill.

Technique: This comic is ascetically very pleasing, it starts off with pleasing coloring and descriptive panels ranging from cartoon like style to show play to an incredibly realistic style to show the fear and pain of the characters, even when the comic changes to mostly black and white the shading and art style looks very professional obviously the illustrator has a lot of practice and should continue her work as such. However one does wonder why the artist chose to go to black and white, when colors where as astounding as they were. The righting goes hand and hand with the illustrations.

Impact: although the comic gets its point across, it does lay on a shaky foundation. The audience is seaming thrown into a position of feeling sorry for a character we know very little about. Whats her personality, her strengths and weaknesses her past endeavors. This is the problem I see with most comics/ stories these days, there's not enough backing to go along with the intense happenings of the story, it's like the artists want to get to the juicy parts first and leave the intro to nothing but a montage told normally in the third person. Without the spine the body could not move.

Overall this is a very good comic and I hope to see more in the future.
