I won't take offense, it's just a question I think every artist wonders. Also someone I watched just posted some similar poll so this popped up in my head.

Honestly, I couldn't tell you. It's certainly not like most canine comics in the style. Most are drawn like a Disney copy with cell shading and whatnot, and yours seems to be more realistic. The overall faces and anatomy are realistic, yet still have a sort of stylized way about the faces to give more of an expression or the like to them without overly humanizing them. ...I got up at 4 AM after three/four hours of sleep followed by nonstop video games, so none of that probably made any sense.
((Sorry for late reply, DA doesn't tell you when someone comments on your poll. D: ))
Well.... Thank you... I'm flattered, seriously. You have stated what my basic goal of canine/animal drawing is. Expression without making them too humany (which then they're not really animals after that, are they?).
Nonstop gaming is bad for the eyes, but good for the soul. <3
Well, good. I really never have seen anyone else do it quite like yours. Though there's really nothing wrong (to me, anyway) with the more Disney styled and cell-shading, it's just extremely overdone. One person who seems to mix realism with cell shading and a bit of human-ish expressions at times is ~akreon with "Off White", which is one of the few wolf comics I really follow at the moment.
Oh yes. The game is friggin' addicting. xD Not like I have much else to do anyway.
I have nothing against cell shading either. It's an awesome style if one actually knows what they're doing. Like you for instance, I luff yer cell shades characters.
I kept up with Off White, the style is awesome and the story seems interesting so far. Personally the few things that threw me off where; 1. She references wolf's rain images and when she does you can tell there wasn't much effort to change the lineart into her own. It's not the fact that it's wolf's rain, I just see it as cheating when you pretty much take lineart instead of trying to come up with your own. 2. The prologue threw me off. I dun like it when people reference mythology to the point of not really creating their own myths with it. She might as well made up new names (pretty much when people use Fenrir or Fenris it makes me a little agitated; but that's just my own personal taste). I don't think the prologue was even necessary. I kinda figured everything it said through what the Alpha wolf kept saying about meeting someone, the story of Iki's glowing eyes, and so on(with the spirits and such). So yeh. Meh, I can even chew up the better quality stuff when I feel like it.
Lololol, I just found this today and it pisses me off. It's basically a copy of Wolf's Rain, same style, nearly the same story (From what I've seen, anyway), and one of the characters even looks a lot like Kiba only... FEMALE, OF COURSE! [link] ORIGINALITY? WUZZAT? This is why despite every time I have thought about maybe possibly making a comic I have shied away--there's just too damn many (Plus, I'm lazy, BUT LET'S NOT MENTION THAT PART).
